System Password Reset
X-Series
Due to the higher security features of X-Series, there is no master password reset. There is a prompt during NVR and IP Camera setup that allows you to set security questions or generate a certificate file in order to do password recovery. If these were not set, the only option is to reset the unit to factory defaults.
Flux
For Flux IP Cameras, use the IPTool to set the camera to factory default.
For Flux NVR/XVR, we now offer a Self-Service Flux Reset Tool. You must be logged in to use this tool.
