Firmware Update Instructions

  1. Download the update file corresponding to your model number.
  2. Transfer the update file (*.sw file) onto a USB flash drive formatted using FAT-32.
  3. Insert the USB flash drive into your XVR/NVR
  4. On the XVR/NVR, go to Setup > System > Maintenance > Upgrade
  5. Choose 'Select File', browse to and select the update file you just transferred to the USB drive
  6. Click 'OK', click 'Upgrade'
  7. Update should begin. Do not interrupt the update. This can take several minutes to complete.
  8. The device will reboot after the update has been completed.
